Dr. Kerry Litvin is a results-driven ivy educated technology leader with a keen eye towards new innovations and difficult problem solving. He has an extensive expert background in optical network architecture, optical transport, optical sub-systems, and optical components within the broadband cable and telecommunications industry. As an inventor or co-inventor on eleven issued patents he has a demonstrated ability to advance the state-of-the-art in all of these areas. Dr. Litvin has formulated original analysis methodologies both for computer simulations and laboratory measurements and invented ground-breaking new technologies for the broadband cable and telecommunications industries. He has extensive experience developing mathematical models for these industry sectors to simulate complex physical systems that accurately predict new behaviors. His modeling and simulation results have been confirmed both in the laboratory and in real-world scenarios. Dr. Litvin also has extensive wireless experience with millimeter-wave and microwave devices and circuits, as-well-as photonic technologies.

Dr. Litvin has been providing technologically based due diligence consultations to investment and business professionals such as private equity firm directors, hedge fund directors, management consulting firms, and other private financial institutions all with keen monetary interests in: fiber optic networks, optical communication devices and systems, related component manufacturer spaces, and broadband cable MSO or telecommunications service providers for the purposes of aiding in their very important investment and management decisions. He has also performed on-sight technological due diligence reviews with regard to start-up company investment prospects. Dr. Litvin has been responsible for intellectual property rights reviews and provided expert advice to corporate IP attorneys in this regard.

He has been a “go to” person when building relationships with customers and suppliers in order to achieve technologically based business goals. Dr. Litvin has an instinctual “take-charge” attitude with key strengths in strategic leadership, complex technical analysis, peer mentoring, and multi-tasking. He has extensive professional experience in all aspects of Fiber Optic Network Architecture Engineering, TV Signal Transmission Over Optical Fiber, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mathematical Modeling, Optical Communications Laboratory Measurements and Prototyping, RF/Microwave/Millimeter-Wave/Wireless Engineering, Technical Due-Diligence, and Intellectual Property Matters. ​ Dr. Litvin holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applied Physics from Cornell University where he was also a Howard Hughes Doctoral Fellow, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology where he was an Institute Graduate Fellow, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University where he graduated amongst the top 2% in his class.
