ABOUT ME:

I studied physics at The University of Oregon. I have not finished my degree but, during the time I was there, I worked in astronomy at the state observatory East of Bend, Oregon in the high desert for four years. This resulted in having my name on several papers in The Astrophysical Journal. At the observatory we were doing polarimetry, that is, not just studying periodic changes in light magnitude from celestial objects, but studying their polarized light changes over time (direction of light polarization and percentage of polarized light) which allowed us to infer geometry of physical characteristics, such as size and inclination of the disc of gas and dust that periodically eclipses Epsilon Aurigae every 27 years for two years, presumably an evolving planetary system.
