It has never been easier to safely connect your Internet of Things devices to Wolfram SystemModeler. With the release of the new OPCUA library for SystemModeler, you can connect your devices through a SystemModeler client using the OPC UA protocol.

One example of usage is to set up a virtual prototype of a system that communicates through the OPC UA protocol to get a realistic scenario of an actual, real-world system.

Another important use case involves connecting your sensors and devices directly to a SystemModeler simulation to run, for example, a control system. This can also be used in combination with the ModelPlug library for an easy connection to all (Firmata-compatible) devices.
