Calculate Floor[cos(x)] with W|A?

Posted 7 years ago

Hi, how do you do?

I'm trying to computate Floor[cos(x)], but it seens WolframAlpha doesn't show a single value for cosx = 1 in the range -pi<=x<=pi, is it normal?

It's what I would expect from any plotting function that operates on a continuum by sampling. The part of the domain for which the value is 1 is measure zero (indeed, it is discrete).
