[?] Where does Download-Manager (Windows) put Install files?

Posted 6 years ago

For Windows, I would like to put the Install-files on a Computer with has a slow internet connection. Hence I would download the Installation files on a USB-disk using an other computer. I put the 3 Meg "Download-Manager" on the USB-device, started it downloaded but this stupid does not prompt for any Download directory, but puts it in some temporary place. Can anyone tell me where it is put?

Thanks in advance

Thank you so much, the Download directory seems obvious, but I only searched with Keywords like "Wolfram" and "Mathematica". I could copy the files to an external disk for later install.

The download manager should be putting the installation files in your Downloads directory (on Windows, C:\Users\username\Downloads). The download manager places the relevant files in a folder titled something like M-WIN-L-11.2.0-5822651.

Once all the files are on the new Windows machine, just run "setup.exe" from within that folder and the installation process should start.

Hope this helps.
