Solve the Bloch-Torrey differential equation?

Posted 6 years ago

Dear, In the attach file I'm trying to solve the Bloch-Torrey differential equation for any given gradient waveform (G[t]). However, I haven't been able to directly introduce the equation to the DSolve[] function and solve it, maybe it is because the triple partial derivative (one with respect to the time and 2 with the position). Because of that, I assume the solution to be of the form of M[r,t], then I obtain A[t] and finally my desired solution. However, the solution it gives for A[t] is divided in two intervals [0 to 1, and 1 to t], and that shouldn't be the case. In this context, could you please help me to directly solve the initial differential equation? and why A[t] is divided into two intervals? I attach my notebook so you can see code.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon, Óscard
