Wolfram Research, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, is seeking a motivated Math Developer to help enrich and improve the mathematics content of Wolfram|Alpha. As a member of the math content team, you will specialize in designing and implementing new content for the Wolfram|Alpha family of products, including step-by-step solutions, Wolfram Problem Generator and Wolfram Challenges. You will also be working with team members to plan, design and review individual members' projects. The ideal candidate will be an independently driven team player with fluency in mathematics, strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in math or computer science field, or related
- Familiarity with mathematics pedagogy
- Familiarity with the Wolfram Language
Desired qualifications
- Fastidiously clean programming habits
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Strong background in math or math-heavy subject matter education (teaching, teaching assistant, textbook writing, course design and planning, etc.)
- Background in scientific or data analysis fields
- Familiarity with JavaScript or other programming languages
- Familiarity with a foreign language
