SocialMediaData authorization problem

I am trying to run (Mathematica 9.0.1 on OSX 10.9) SocialMediaData["Twitter", "Followers"] // Short The autorization window opens, I click on the button to get e key, Safari opens the web page, I copy the key, but nothing happens. The authorization window opens again with an empty field for the key. On the other hand, the similar process for Facebook works flawlessly. How can I solve my problem?

After opening the page and copying the key, you say nothing happens? Does this mean you are unable to copy the key from the webpage? What happens when you try to type the key into Mathematica's dialog? If it looks like there is something wrong with the webpage you get, I would try opening the page in a diffrerent browser by either copying the URL, or by temporarily switching the default browser on my computer.

Using Firefox helped. I will insverstigate further about Safari. I noticed the the key displayed in Safari was much shorter (one line instead of 4 lines)
