CCD astronomical imaging: image acquisition

Here's the M57 (Ring Nebula) image that was also processed in the same manner as the improved M27 image above. The big difference is that the M57 image is pure RGB data without a Luminance channel for additional detail. I'll see if I can capture that this weekend.enter image description here

This image incorporates the luminance data I collected at the same time as the R, G, and B data plus it was stretched using the WL implementation of the IRAS ZSCALE algorithm.
