I don't know if this is possible or even how to attempt it. I would like to be able to examine conditions, get data, and maybe start a process from the programming cloud. These are three different things, so might be possible while the others not, if I could only do one of them, I would like to be able to check for the existence of a particular file, or read data from a file, and based on conditions send email to myself and other on my team.

I assume this requires access, and knowing how to get to a particular workstation. I suppose that access rights would be granted at the workstation. Maybe a process in the cloud would talk to a port (I don't know much about this).

Is anyone interested in this?
