Dear colleagues,
How can I write a Mathematica package that generates (randomly or using some kind of AI generation) linear combinations of the following function types: linear, rational, polynomial, exponential, and trigonometric? Of course, each function has a set number of parameters. Finally, the package fits each of the created functions (which could be thousands) on some input data (which could be 2D or 3D), calculates the R squared, ranks the top ten functions based on their best fit and parameters, and displays these results. Is this possible?
Thanks for your help,
