Q: resume correct typing format after inserting a bibliographical note?

Posted 10 years ago

I am having difficulties inserting citations when typing in a notebook. If insert a citation as a bibliographical note, fill in the citation box, and then return to typing in the notebook, the freshly typed text is blue (same as the superscripted reference number) rather than black. The only way I found to turn off the blue was to cut some black text from before the citation and then paste it afterwards, continue typing, and then backspace away the pasted tidbit. Surely there is a better way. What is it?

As an aside, I find editing existing citations to be exceedingly clunky.

The workaround is to type CTRL-SPACE to get back to normal font color after inserting a citation. Reportedly this issue will be fixed in a future release.
