How to specify range when plotting derivative of a product? (Alpha)

Posted 9 years ago

I would like to plot derivatives of products by specifying range e.g.

plot derivative ( product (1-x^2/k^2), k=1 to infinity ) * x from x=0 to 5

Somehow I am not able to get results with WolframAlpha. Is there possibly something wrong with the syntax or can it really be this is not supported? I am able to plot without specifying range i.e.

plot derivative ( product (1-x^2/k^2), k=1 to infinity ) * x

Many thanks. That would indeed work if I subscribed to Pro, but without, the alternate forms of my products being awfully long, such approach is not possible.

First

WolframAlphaDerivative

Then "hover" your mouse over "Alternate Form" and a little menu bar will appear. Click on the "A" and that will give you a window with a few options. "Scrape and copy" the Wolfram Language plaintext output." Open another WolframAlpha window or just reuse the question box, Type Plot, paste the prior result and then add from x=0 to 5 like this

WolframAlphaPlot
