Graphing a function on Mathematica with axis.

I'm taking Electrodynamics and we are asked to sketch plots of the homework we are given. These "sketches" have to be in mathematica, matlab, or maple. I've finished the problems but don't know how to graph in mathematica.

enter image description here the answers i got are as follows

a) Q/2?R 1/?(R^2-r^2 )
b) ?(x)=A/2? 1/?(a^2-x^2 )
c) Q/2a

We don't really need to see the a picture of book you worked the problems from. We really just need to know what equation you're plotting and what kind of plot you want. Can you make this plot with Wolfram|Alpha? If so, that'd help us understand what you're trying to do.

What equation are you trying to plot? Let's just pick one equation for now.

What kind of plot are you trying to make? Is it 2D or 3D? Is it a surface or a line? Is it a function or a region?

Please understand that there are a lot of students online who post pictures of their homework asking for help with it. For this reason, it's not a good idea to post your problem set as a picture. You should ask and include only the relevant material to the question you're asking. In this case, please give a description of the kinds of plots you want.
