How to determine whether a series converges or diverges?

Trying to figure out if the series from 1 to infinity of ln(k)/k converges or diverges.

It diverges by comparison test with the harmonic series.

I believe i may have worded this wrong. Perhaps something like this would be better: Does the sum of ln(k)/k from 1 to infinity converge or diverge?
