Resources For Learning How to Build GUIs in Mathematica

Dear all, I'd like to learn how to build GUIs in Mathematica and I'm wondering what would the best resources be to do that. I'm specially interested in creating applications that will enable the user to import files, perform some statistical calculations on them and generate reports. Are there any reference materials such as books or tutorials just focused on that? Many thanks in advance, Ruben

You could start with IntroductionToManipulate then AdvancedManipulateFunctionality and to learn about graphics itself there is The Mathematica GuideBook for Graphics There is a new book called "Mathematica Data Visualization" you can check it on Amazon, but I do not have it myself.
