Problem with time series forecast not accepting the data

Posted 9 years ago

Dear All:

I am fairly new to Mathematica, and I am able to import a file containing the date and time and watts consumed. I am able to import it, but when I try to apply the TimeSeriesForecast it give me an error that the TimeSeriesForecast[<<1>>]} is not a valid dataset or list of datasets, although I used it other times. I am attaching the cvs file and the notebook code I am executing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Antonio

Hi,

the forecast is not very good like this, but if you substitute your definition of forecast by

forecast = TimeSeriesForecast[eproc // Normal, teddata, {10}];

you get

DateListPlot[{teddata, forecast}, Joined -> True]

enter image description here

Cheers,

Marco
