A "back button" for hyperlinked cell tags in the FrontEnd?

Posted 9 years ago

I'm wondering if anyone has implemented a "Back Button" or equivalent keyboard shortcut for the following:

Suppose I have a link to a tagged cell in a notebook. Clicking on the link does the right thing, it moves the selection to the tagged cell.

However, what if I want to jump back to where I was previously? Has anyone implemented a "go back" as in a browser? This would be very handy.

Thanks, WCC

Thanks John, I don't think I would have looked there!

In case any one else is reading this. The back button is not there by default. You have to right-click on the "help" button on the right, and then select customize toolbar. You will see a back-button that you can drag to the toolbar. (This is 10.2, MacOs).

There's a back button in the Formatting toolbar (why Formatting? Because...um...look at that interesting thing over there!). I.e., Window->Toolbar->Formatting.
