It used to be that you could click on the filename to abort a computation. That feature is now gone.
Does anyone know how to abort a computation in Mathematica Online?

If you hover your mouse of the button saying "Evaluating..." it turns into a button to abort the current evaluation.

Thanks for the suggestion. But my browser is not showing the Evaluating button/region. I used to get something kind of like this over the file name but that stopped a couple of weeks ago.
Which browser are you using?
