Model with Custom Components in SystemModeler?

Posted 8 years ago

Hey All,

I'm just trying out system modeler and it seems pretty great.

I'm following this video tutorial http://www.wolfram.com/training/videos/ENG031/ and I started to notice a problem when the presenter started to use and reference files such as graphics, temperature files I didn't have or know about. The part that brought me to a stand still was the use of "prepackage" components at the 14:26 minute mark. These items I'm truly missing and I can't imagine working through the tutorial without them.

Am I missing something obvious? Can someone offer advice?

Great thanks for the link. I downloaded the model and will get back to the tutorial when I get I chance. Right now I'm working through torque which just lead me to rotation...

Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben, you can find the material in this downloadable example: http://www.wolfram.com/system-modeler/examples/energy/energy-consumption-model.html. Enjoy!

Hi, you're right, without those files it will be hard to continue for you. I will investigate this and will get back to you.
