Avoid crash while using "save selection as" on a Windows machine?

My Mathematica 11 crashes every time I make a plot and I try to create a pdf with the "save selection as" command.

Specifically I get the message:

"Wolfram Mathematica 11 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Anybody has any idea how to solve this nuisance? Thanks

make plot

save & exit

re-initialize Mma

saveAs PDF

I'm having the same issue. Sorry, I don't have a solution, but hoping someone does.

Thank you for your message.

In my case I contacted Wolfram Technical support on August 31, but they still haven't figured out what the problem may be. Uninstalling and installing again didn't work.

I hope someone has an idea...
