Use dynamic functions to show intensity distribution?

Posted 7 years ago

Hi,

I have almost no experience in mathematica or any coding language and after I have read "the introduction to dynamics" I still cannot solve the problem. It feels like that I need knowledge of the mathematica language logic but I have no idea what I shall read. I hope you guys can give me a hint. Any help is appreciated.

The Goal of the code: Read the image. Interactively chose a square area then the code shows the intensity distribution of the encircled area with listplot3D.

The problem is that the plot did not show up, but subimage$$ instead. Looks like this is just a labeling of variable?

The code I tried is attached. Thanks a lot!

Try and see if the attached version of your initial code fits your needs. I wasn't exactly sure what data you wished to plot in the ListPlot3D, so you may have to play with that.

The output should look like the image here below

Thank you Massimo! I shall be able to figure out my code with yours as the reference.
