I jumped onto the new built-in AI Assistant [following along][1] Stephen's blog. In my trials, each trial a clean session (exit notebook and kernels), the example chat prompt "solve for the eigenmodes of a pentagonal drum" yielded varying results, not too surprising, but the second session produced failing code (syntax). Wanting to learn more, I browsed the Documentation Center ("Help"), searching on "AI Assistant" but the top hit, *tutorial/AIAssistant*, yielded a confusing page mixing the pre-V15 Notebook Assistant and V15 AI Assistant. There is better overview information available: [AI Assistant][3] and [AI Access][4]. Regarding the latter link, I wonder what is gained over the free (V15 included) "Basic" AI Access level by the paid "Pro" and "Research" levels. I'd very much appreciate an example chat session comparison between the three showing how the higher-level LLMs improve results over the Basic level. However, since updating to 14.3, the built-in default Wolfram stylesheet is applied instead, and if I want to use my custom one, I need to set it for every new notebook separately. Evaluating ``` CurrentValue[DefaultStyleDefinitions] ``` returns the custom notebook path I set, but the notebook still uses built-in styles. Is this a bug or am I missing something? I've tried to force the app to light/dark/system mode and restart, but the built-in stylesheet is always applied. Is this expected behavior, or a bug? If it is deliberate, what is the rationale? For me it causes problems because I am generating code to be pasted (as text) into my Jekyll site, and the apostrophes mean something, so I don't want curly quotes replaced by them when I do the copy and paste. It works well for most things, but there are some issues like the labels in datasets.
