Extending Fraction Frontiers is designed to help students explore fractions and ratios through coordinated visual representations of magnitudes, units, lattice points, and number-line locations. The current prototype uses several linked panes, including target magnitudes, an integer lattice, a number line, dashboard controls, and conjecture-testing displays. The goal is to support students in reasoning about fractions as expressions of relative magnitude, common units, and equivalent ratios, rather than treating fractions only as part-whole symbols.&#xD;
&#xD;
The code currently involves substantial use of:&#xD;
    •	DynamicModule&#xD;
    •	Manipulate&#xD;
    •	Graphics&#xD;
    •	Grid&#xD;
    •	Pane&#xD;
    •	LocatorPane&#xD;
    •	state management across coordinated displays&#xD;
•	layout control for multiple interactive panes&#xD;
•	possibly packaging code into .wl files&#xD;
&#xD;
I am especially interested in someone with experience in interactive Mathematica notebooks, clean Wolfram Language programming, mathematical or educational visualization, and readable code documentation.&#xD;
The initial task would be a paid diagnostic review of the current notebook, followed by:&#xD;
    •	a proposed refactoring plan, and&#xD;
    •	one representative code improvement.&#xD;
Alternatively, the first task could focus on two concrete prototype improvements:&#xD;
    •	implementing a dropdown menu that determines which panes are available in different modes or stages of use, and&#xD;
    •	ensuring that the active panes are displayed at appropriate sizes and positions depending on which combination of panes is currently shown.&#xD;
&#xD;
If the collaboration works well, I would like help completing the software prototype. I can share additional details privately after an initial exchange.&#xD;
&#xD;
Please respond with examples of prior Wolfram Language work, especially interactive notebooks, visualizations, packages, or educational tools. &#xD;

I was able to perform the manipulations function in the &amp;#034;answers&amp;#034; section but after rebooting my laptop for an unrelated issue, the manipulate blue line doesn&amp;#039;t appear anymore; so I&amp;#039;m not sure what went wrong. &#xD;

Now I want to store the results of f[x] in two variables arg and val for later use.&#xD;
The following code works, but it throws a Set::shape error during the assignment of the result, and the variables arg and val are not set.&#xD;

    <title>Is Grid preferable to GraphicsGrid for dynamic rendering?</title>

    <description>In the context of my research, I created a static 2X2 array of plots of some complexity and displayed them using GraphicsGrid  I then wanted to observe how the bottom row changed with a certain parameter with the top row fixed, not dependent upon this parameter.  As precomputed static plots, I thought they would not make rendering much more difficult.  The resulting animation, generated by Manipulate[GraphicsGrid[{{staticPic1, staticPic2}, {dynPic1[p], dynPic2[p]}}, {p, 0, 1}], was not highly responsive.  Specifically, the motion in the bottom two plots was jumpy.  After trying many ways to make dynPic1 and dynPic2 more efficient, I found merely replacing GraphicsGrid with Grid produced a completely smooth and responsive animation (and switching back slowed the animation again and switching back to Grid again sped it back up).   &#xD;
&#xD;
I then tried to illustrate what I thought was the generic slowing behavior of GraphicsGrid (relative to Grid) using the simple example below, though switching to GraphicsColumn for simplicity, the single column case of Grid.  But this example, provided at the end of this post, seemed to render just as quickly with GraphicsColumn as with Column.&#xD;
&#xD;
I assume that Grid and Column are preferable from the standpoint of performance but my attempt to generate a simple illustration of this has failed. I could try to create a more complex example but I thought I might ask for help.  To explicitly state the question:  Are Grid and Column indeed preferable when speed or responsiveness is desired and the items being plotted are non-trivial?  If the answer to this question is &amp;#034;yes&amp;#034;, perhaps this should be mentioned in the Properties and Relations section of the documentation for Grid and GraphicsGrid.  &#xD;
&#xD;

    <description>I made interactive program with colliding blocks. The condition of collision is y&amp;lt;=x, where y &amp;amp; x are coordinates of two blocks along straight line of their motion. I could use the condition y&amp;lt;=x in Manipulate. But I couldn&amp;#039;t use  the condition y&amp;lt;=x in version with DynamicModule. I have read Help chapters about dynamics and know that dynamic variables are objects in front end. straight from the course instructor video. Yet, it is graded as incorrect.&#xD;
Can you help me what I am doing wrong ? &#xD;

    <title>Tilting beam with the center of mass over an edge</title>

    <description>I have a problem which I can&amp;#039;t solve properly in Mathematica:&#xD;
&#xD;
A beam tilts at an edge; initially, it adheres, then it slides. First, the transition from adhering to sliding and then from sliding to the lifting of the edge should be determined. This can be accomplished using the center of mass theorem, angular momentum theorem, and the condition of adhesion. For setting up the differential equation, please refer to the attached document.&#xD;
The first task to find out the time and angle at which the beam starts to slide is correct in my opinion but I do not get plausible values for the second task, see the attached notebook. .It should be around 0.68 seconds for my = 0.3. Help would be highly appreciated as I slowly start to despair. &amp;amp;[Wolfram Notebook][1]&#xD;

    <title>Manipulate doesn&amp;#039;t work on fresh kernel</title>

    <description>Hello to everyone, I have a problem. I&amp;#039;m working with Mathematica right now because I have to solve some thermodynamics problems. When I reopen my notebook, the graphs data don&amp;#039;t show on display. Is there a way to solve this problem or have I to run everytime  to display data? For instance, Manipulate is an empty box but when I reload the code it shows to me the effective curve. I need this because my prof wants this from me for my thesis. &#xD;

    <title>Fitting Solution of a DE to a function</title>

    <description>I am trying to solve the following system of differential equations, which depend on three parameters, namely lambda, sigma0, sigma a. The final goal is to find a parameter triple, which fits the function sqrt[0.3166*(1+z)^3+0.6847] on the interval z=(0,3).&#xD;
&#xD;
So far, I managed to plot the solution of the system of differential equations via Manipulate. But finding a parameter triple, for which the solution fits, seems quite tedious. Is there a way to do this systematically, or only trial and error? I attach what I have so far.&#xD;

My goal is to create a graphical interface with Manipulate in which there is: 1) a slider to vary a parameter k, integer &amp;gt;=1; 2) a graph of a polynomial p_k(x) of degree k, represented by a dotted line with dots corresponding to the values p_k(x=n) where n is an integer &amp;gt;=1; 3) the writing &amp;#034;for k=k_0, n=n_0&amp;#034;, where k_0 is the value of k chosen with the cursor and n_0 is the value of n closest to the root of p_k(x)=0.
