Enter exponents in a Wolfram Cloud Notebook?

Posted 4 years ago

I am used to using Mathematica on desktop. Now I am trying out Wolfram Cloud (using Firefox from a Linux desktop). I did not figure out how to enter exponents or ratios in a formatted way. ctrl^ etc. do not work for me.

Is this supposed to work with Wolfram Cloud? I there a palette with Wolfram Cloud? Any hints on what I could try?

Many thanks,

Wolfgang

For a temporary solution, take a look at:

Since cloud notebooks don't support the feature-rich "two-dimensional" input found in desktop Mathematica yet, we added a new control that allows you to enter a textual representation of various typesetting constructs (what we call InputForm) and turns it into the corresponding two-dimensional boxes
