 I used Wolfram to solve the problem shown in screenshots, but I got wrong solution. What is the wrong ?enter image description here Attachments:
 You probably expect the function to be defined for all x, do you? Then use CubeRoot: f[x_] := 2 + CubeRoot[6 - 2 x] If you write 2 + (6 - 2 x)^(1/3) it is understood as 2 + Exp[Log[6 - 2 x]/3], which gives complex values when x>3.
