Posted 3 years ago

Is it possible to get simultaneous equations solutions, with steps, from Wolfram|Alpha? I have tried without success and may be inputting it incorrectly.

I think this question will be better answered by Wolfram|Alpha team, here are their contact info

info@wolframalpha.com
http://www.wolframalpha.com/contact.html

You can also use feedback form down any Wolfram|Alpha page to report Wolfram|Alpha issues. Hope this helps.

Thank you Elbanna, this is the information I was looking for.

One difficulty that I'd previously had was the message "Computing time exceeded" or something similar, before the problem had been solved and it seemed that this could be resolved by upgrading my subscription at additional cost. Is it possible to briefly comment on what this means and what to do if encountered again please?

Example of simultaneous equation:

653=10a+55b
4423=55a+385b

Example of how I am inputting into WA:

653=10a+55b,4423=55a+385b

Hi

Maybe put a space after the comma. like that

653=10a+55b, 4423=55a+385b

and here is the link to W|A solving it
https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=653%3D10a%2B55b%2C+4423%3D55a%2B385b

or to be more clear you can write
solve 653=10a+55b, 4423=55a+385b
