Some time ago I stumbled upon this work about visualizing the similarity of Human and Chimp DNA. Mathematica has a nice GenomeData function to access genome information. As far as I understand there is no non-human information available there but still I thought it’d be cool to try to visualize human genes sequences.
Turns out it’s extremely easy to do in Mathematica.
I thought it was worth sharing.
