Cdf player plugin not working

Is anybody else having issues with the cdf player plugin recently?

I´ve noted some issues today. The plugin was not working both in IE and in Chrome. Besides my laptop with Windows 8.1, I have also tried a computer with Windows 7 installed. I have reinstalled the plugin several times. At some point in Chrome it resumed working, but not in IE.

I had the same problem with IE 11 and Windows 8.1. It was solved with this installation.

Many thanks! It solved the problem in IE. Unfortunately now it is not working in the case of Chrome. I guess I have to opt between one and the other!
