I usually run a code that takes very long a time. Hence, it would be useful to display the remaining time of an evaluation. I followed the instructions in this link, but it didn’t work properly. Any suggestion?
Those instructions are for displaying the time taken for an evaluation to complete. In general there is no way to estimate the time remaining for an evaluation to complete. If there was, it could help solve the Halting Problem. 
Depending on what you are doing, you might be able to use Monitor.
