Wolfram Mathematica is arguably one of the best computer algebra systems out there, and elliptic curves are one of the most fascinating research topics in algebra. I don’t quite understand why Mathematica still seems to lack any significant built-in functionality for number theory and cryptography, particularly elliptic curves. Can anyone offer an explanation?"
In my opinion, it would be nice if Wolfram Mathematica had built-in support for elliptic curves and the Wolfram Data Repository could serve the large collection of Cremona’s tables of elliptic curves.
