I’m facing a numerical calculation error.
Here is the problem:
The transfer function got at the numerator the term exp^(-t0*s). Actually there are 5 of it.
Please note t0=0.05 (sec). The Transfer function is quite heavy so the calculation result is wrong.
If for instance I set t0=0.0005 then the numerical solution is correct and so the Bode plot.
I’d need to solve the problem by using t0=0.05 though.
This is the actual time delay when the road input hit the front & rear wheel.
Can anyone of you help on this matter?
I have tried to use the write the exp when Taylor polynomial but is not improving the thing.
Actually is worse.
Dear Daniel,
Thanks for your reply.
I sorted out the issue.
If you write the exponential (exp) by means of Taylor’s polynomial you can see what the max n tern which suit you. The max n term to be chosen for Taylor’s poly must be the one by which the grade of the polynomial at numerator of the transfer function is lower than the one at the denominator. That’s the key to plot Bode plot properly.
In my case n=2. In this way, at the numerator the grade of the poly is 7. At denominator I got 8.
So by n=2 the system is stable and Bode plot looks good.
See below.
Please advise and give me your feeback.
