I have to measure parameters of connecting rod with image processing approach. As algorithm is supposed to give same values of parameters for each image of connecting rod, but when algorithm runs on its various images it gives different values of parameters while images are captured from fixed distance. Kindly suggest me any research paper or any solution related to this problem.
Getting a visual representation of the problem will be easy to give recommendation or solution.

Currently, I have done processing on images of rectangle. I have measured length and width of rectangle with the help of algorithm. For each image of rectangle, the algorithm gives different values of it’s parameters while the images are captured from fixed height.
