am trying to make use of mathematica package to solve these equations as captured by the image shown. what i hope to obtain is t_1 and T. pls help on what to do to solve it using mathematica package. thanks

The Solve function and its relatives are primarily for algebraic equations. Your equations will probably require numerical solution with, for example, FindRoot. Numerical solutions will assume that all parameters have been given number values.
If you hope others will try to work with your equations, it is important to attach a notebook file (.nb) with them.
