For instance, if I have a list of all the battles that took place during the American Civil War, can I create an entity class from this list and use FilteredEntityClass on it? Or is this functionality limited to entity classes that are already included in the entity framework? I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to accomplish this. You can create your own EntityStore. The data you have will have to be expressed as nested associations. See this workflow documentation page for more details.
