I am trying to make sure I don’t get surprise charged for AI usage. I can’t find the documentation on this. I’m a hobbyist user, but we all know tokens just seem to evaporate so quickly. How do I responsibly make sure there are no hidden charges? Even better if you have documentation. Thank you.
At the Basic level there are no charges.

If you want to upgrade your subscription, you can do so by managing the AI Access product here:
If you subscribe to Pro or Research level plans you can also opt-in to allow service credits to be used for even more extended AI access (this is not possible with the Basic plan at the moment):
