I would try this:
Manipulate[
Table[Hue[i/n], {i, 0, n - 1}],
{n, 5, 50, 1}]
Using Subdivide is convenient:
Hue /@ Subdivide[15]
Not that subdivide will return 16 items (15 partitions).
