I’ve built a 4 Raspberry Pi cluster and able to use all 16 cores with 16 Kernels (http://mathematica.stackexchange.com/questions/39684/benchmarking-mathematica-performance-on-the-raspberry-pi/124097#124097), but would like to know if it is possible to get a license for more than 16 Kernels?
The licensing limits how many kernels can run on a single Raspberry Pi, you could in fact run up to 16 subkernels on the same Pi (not that it is a good idea to do this on a single board). Since you are running several different boards, you should be fine.
I understand that 16 Kernels can be used … I’m interested in using more with additional networked Pi boards
What is stopping you? For example, launch 5 subkernels on each of your boards, for a total of 20.
Isn’t the license limit 16?
I think you must address the question to the Support!
