Hi,
So I have a dilemma that I’m hoping someone here will be kind enough to help me out with. I have zero experience in coding, not one line of code. I’ve never used Mathematica or anything like it before. I need a way to generate an asymmetric trigonal trapezohedron (aka a skew dice), and export it to a 3D-format like DWG, DXF, Sketchup or anything really. I’ve downloaded the Wolfram StreptohedronAndTrapezohedron-source from the Demonstration file provided here, but now I have no idea what to do… All I need is to export some different variations to try out. Please help!
Ok, so I’ve started doing some really basic tutorials to understand Mathematica, and although I find this very interesting, this is going to take me ages. I would be truly thankful if anyone could just give me instructions on how to perform the Export-command properly so I can move along with my design work!
Look at these 2 posts on this forum:
I got my 3D shape to print by exporting to STL format and uploaded it to shapeways.com.
Thank you for your response, I’ll make sure to thoroughly check out those threads. Hopefully it will be enough to get me started! ![]()
