I want to compute the ionization energy of the helium atom quantum mechanically. For this I need to compute some numerical sextuple integrals over a smooth complex function of six coordinates. Which integration method should I use to get a fast computation with good accuracy? The complex function is very time expensive to evaluate.
It would help if you provided some examples of the integrals you are using and what you may have already tried in Mathematica.
The important functions in my program are “matrixHN” and “matrixSN”. I use the numerical integration method “NewtonCotesRule”, because it gives the best results. Is there a better integration method?
