I have a few graphs and want to combine them but in a way that they be plotted with specified range. However when I use Show[], it overrides the specifications of PlotRange in individual Plot commands and plot all of them with the same range, basically cutting out some of them and extending others. This seems to be a rather major problem with Show. Any idea how to circumvent it? Thanks

This is how `Show` is designed to work. It takes the settings from the first graphics and uses that for all. You can override the `PlotRange` by specifying one in the `Show` command itself.
