Here is post of mine proclaiming a Mathematica package and a guide for its usage to construct, manipulate, and visualize tries (prefix trees) with frequencies.

I published today a blog post discussing extensions of the package TriesWithFrequencies.m with two new functions TrieRemoval and TrieNodeFrequencies:
Removal of sub-trees in tries | Mathematica for prediction algorithms .

The removal of a sub-tree from a trie is useful when we want to alternate the learning stored in the trie.
