please find a short notebook attached in which I present a strange behavior of Dataset[]. This is too “smart” for me to find an explanation. Any idea what is going on here?

Hi,
A syntax thing. Dataset takes a single argument. Your Dataset has two arguments (each an Association consisting of a list of Associations), followed by options. So wrap the two “main” Associations in a list to make a single argument. Then it will work as expected.
