Using Raspi to build a cam... with sound!?

Hey fellow Raspi users. I’m a total NOOB at this :wink: We are currently doing a unit in a homeschool co-op I am teaching, where we are building Raspi camera things. One of the teams has created a “TANK-CAM” and wants it to make cannon sound when the cell is evaluated/ picture is taken. I’m having trouble integrating the sound clip I found (i have a WAV and MP3 version) and making it actually make the sound during the evaluation. Also, “Button” seems to be flaky on the Pi, so I haven’t been able to make it work in conjunction with that function either. Any input you have to offer would be fantastic. Thanks!

How are you trying to output the sound?

Have you tried something like the following:

EmitSound[Import["ExampleData/car.mp3"]]

I have tried that and it gave me a box with a play button instead of making the sound upon executing.
