Who else know whether or not Wolfram language embedded in the Rasp Pi can do pattern Recognition of image captured by Rasp Pi webcam?

What type of patterns are you looking for? The simple answer is yes but I suspect you are asking something along the lines of “can it be done efficiently and timely?” and that depends on the application. the Classify function along with a set of training images captured by the Raspicam is probably your first step.
