I am a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Virginia, with special interests in applications of NMR and EPR spectroscopy to problems of structure and function in proteins and membranes. Together with Reginald Garrett, I am co-author of a textbook of biochemistry, soon to be in its 6th edition and published by Cengage Publishers. Recently, I have been interested in exposing university students to Mathematica and Wolfram SystemModeler.
