Ghassane Aniba (IEEE: S’03–M’10-SM'17) received the Ph.D degree in telecommunications from Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique - Energy, Materials and Telecommunications (INRS-EMT), Montreal, Canada, in 2010, and the Dipl.-Ing. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Institut National des Postes et Télécommunications (INPT), Rabat, Morocco, in 2002. In 2010, after a postdoctoral position at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), KSA, he joined Ecole Mohammadia d’ingénieurs (EMI), Rabat, Morocco, where he is currently an Associate Professor in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering. He was the chair of the cooperative techniques and relays session at the 20th International Conference on Telecommunications 2013. He is the principal coordinator of the two IRESEN Projects: MicroCSP project (2014-2017) within the InnoTherm III call for projects. His current research interests include Smart Grids, traffic modeling in green cognitive networks, cooperative wireless networks and wireless sensor networks.
