I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a double minor in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering from Penn State University in 2019. My research background and interest include synthetic biology, biophysics, and metabolic engineering. I will be continuing my studies in Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington in Fall 2021. I hope to use my expertise in biotech to aid in Kuwait's transition into an economy less reliant on fossil fuels as well as facilitating a cross-disciplinary approach to problem-solving in my country. Outside of academia, I really enjoy reading philosophy of all kinds, playing super smash brothers, and traveling.
