ABOUT ME:
I am a research scientist working in Bioinformatics. I am one of the authors of Biopython and have a book about Bioinformatics with Python.
The reason I am here is because I believe the Wolfram Language is way superior to anything out there: homoiconicity and functional programming are fundamental to solve complex computational problems.
Other than Bioinformatics I am interested in applications of statistics and machine learning to complex problems.
I am a Computer Scientist by training.
