I obtained my Doctor of Philosophy in Physics at George Mason University in December of 2022, where I studied topological characterization of non-Hermitian Bloch Hamiltonians. In my research, I investigated 1D and 2D non-Hermitian lattice models to refine the understanding of their unique topological properties. Prior to my time at George Mason, I received my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 2012. Immediately after, I started working as an Engineer at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division conducting computational multi-physics analyses using Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Computational Electromagnetics.
